Festival Ceremonies are usually celebrated on the first Saturday of each month. Some festivals are an opportunity to focus on an aspect of the Buddha's teaching and Buddhist practice, embodied by a particular Bodhisattva. Others commemorate one of the teachers in our lineage or an event in the life of the Buddha.
