Memorial for Thich Nhat Hanh
You may have heard the sad news that Thich Nhat Hanh died on Saturday the 22nd of January. He was a Vietnames Buddhist monk who founded the Order of Interbeing and the Plum Village Tradition. He has been a major figure in Buddhism since the 1960s and it was nice to be able to hold a memorial for such a prominent teacher.
Rev. Berwyn Watson is a senior monk of the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives (OBC) and is resident at Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey in Northumberland. He is a disciple of Rev. Master Daishin Morgan, the Abbot of Throssel Hole, and is an authorised teacher of Zen Buddhism. Rev. Berwyn is a trustee of Turning Wheel Buddhist Temple.
