Samantabhadra Bodhisattva

Samantabhadra represents the "always going on" of ceaseless practice, and is also the embodiment of that love for all existence which is expressed by living in a way which ceases from causing suffering and does good for all.

From the Shasta Abbey website:
Samantabhadra (C. P’u-hsien; J: Fugen) Known as “All-Pervading Good” or “The Bodhisattva Whose Beneficence is Everywhere.”
The Bodhisattva of active love and patient, diligent effort. With hands in gassho, Samantabhadra is seated on an elephant representing the great strength which is born of gentleness and patience.
